Top of the Morning to y’all

BORING! BORING!! BORING!!!. Those are the appropriate words to describe the Arsenal world this morning, no juicy transfer rumors like Van Persie prepared to take a pay cut to join Stoke or like Ronaldo missing the Premire League and is tempted by Arsenal’s brand of passing and movement game. What a bore! Everyone just seem to be obsessed with last Saturday’s champions league win of Chelsea over Bayern. Ok fine, they have also forced me too to talk about it and I might as well talk about it. That match was annoying, it felt like all Bayern wanted to prove was you can press your opponent, spurn glorious chances to score goals, loose a penalty in extra time and still go on to lose the game on penalties after going two goals ahead. Congratulations they have successfully proven that and now Chelsea are champions of Europe and congratulations to them too. They thoroughly deserve their success. It’s a shame that we might never see the great Dider Drogba in the premier league next season. I hope they keep him though.

John Utaka won his first league title over the weekend and he was the hero of his team Montpellier as he scored the two goals that helped his team win unprecedented French Ligue one trophy despite all the millions of PSG. Congratulations to him as well as he was part of the Portsmouth team that was relegated to the championship 2 seasons ago and lost his place in the national team and it all seemed like his career was well and truly over but this season he defied all odds to become an integral part of a championship winning side in France scoring some great goals along the way and next season, he will be wining and dining with the cream of Europe in the Uefa Champions League group stage – Moral of the story: when people say you are finished, tell them to go shit in their pants and win the league like Utaka or the Champions league like Chelsea.

Well I guess that's gonna have to be it for today, I got an exam to invigilate.

Be back on Wednesday with another edition and I hope by then we would be seeing a headline screaming “MESSI SEEKING FRESH CHALLENGE: CONSIDERS ARSENAL SWITCH” and that would make my day wouldn’t it? Haha
