Theo vs The Ox + Wenger's Declaration of Hazard Interest

Top of the Morning to y’all.
Cold water seems to have been poured on the blistering performance the lads put out on Saturday afternoon against Blackburn. I mean nobody just seems to be talking about it even though it was the first seven goal haul for Arsenal in the league and am sure if it was just a one nil defeat against the Arsenal, all hell would have been let loose. Blackburn seem to be content in shipping in goals at the Emirates. Remember that 6-2 thrashing? But they can also be asswipeingly stubborn sometimes especially when one remembers the 4-3 game last September.
The Ox seem to be in the news more and more these days with some clowns going as far recommending him for England captaincy after that racist cunt who derives pleasure in luring his best friend and teammate’s girlfriend into bed was sacked from the job. Ass wipes. They want to do unto Alex what they did unto Theo. May God bind their IQ.
My post this morning is not about cunts and ass wipes though, it’s about the two Arsenal players I have mentioned earlier. Yes Theo and the Ox. There has been cheap talk around the gunners faithful that The Ox is a better player than Walcott.
While we have been pleased with The Ox’s performances since his first start against United, it would be unfair and foolhardy to sweep the impact of Theo in the squad under the carpet. Recent performances of The Ox have only gone to prove that Walcott might never become the player people want or expect him to be but rather be a player he wants to be. The Ox’s pace, power, dribbling and composure in front of goal has seen him earn praise from all quarters so far but he being better that Theo is something I completely disagree with.
Theo and The Ox are very different players and though Theo makes some decisions that make one want to give him a dirty slap sometimes, his contributions to the team this season has been top notch. For one, he tops the team’s assist chart and am sure that but for him Robin would not have as much goals as he has already.
Of all the goals that that Arsenal has conceded since the turn of the year in open play, only 2 have come from the right wing that Walcott operates. That’s not a coincidence my friends and he should definitely be patted in the back for the improved defensive side to his game this season.
A better way to highlight this argument is to compare Man United’s Nani and Valencia. Nani is the fast, skilful dribbler that ghosts through players on the wings while Valencia is the powerful unskilful but highly efficient one. Comparing who is better between Nani and Valencia is definitely a mis-match. Same goes for The Ox and Theo as the former is more Naniesque while the latter is more Valenciaesque. This is not to say that Walcott is the finished product already. Far from it. Like I said earlier he makes some decisions that are frustrating and the quality of his final balls sometimes leave much to be desired but his return of 3 assists last Saturday shows how valuable he is to the team and the potentials he has locked in those sprinty legs and handsome head. NO HOMO.
Arsene Wenger admitted interest in Lille midfielder Eden Hazard this week and for most Arsenists who are vast in Arsenology, this is pretty weird for we all know how much he likes to cover up his transfers until it’s done and dusted. I mean if anyone went into the exam hall with the hope of dubbing Arsene, then its sure the person will end up with a “F”. That’s how good the man covers his dealings. Hazard is one of football’s most sought after prodigies and for the manager to openly declare an interest is something that would get fans the world over salivating at the prospect of seeing this bound-for-greatness like player in an Arsenal shirt. Don’t forget there were media reports in the French media that the Belgian was at the Emirates to watch our game against Man United last month. I hope the Arshavin boos wont discourage him from signing for us though. Wenger admitted though that he would have to raise cash to sign the attacking midfielder in the summer. Am sure Arsenal fans will not mind the sale of players such as Denilson, Bendtner, Squillazy, Park, Chamakh and Vela.
And talking about Vela, the young man has voiced his desire not to return to Arsenal at the expiration of his loan at Real Sociedad. He said:

"I don’t want to return to Arsenal. I have asked my agent to negotiate with Arsenal to stay here"

Good riddance if you ask me. I mean that guy just does not have the potential to play at Arsenal. He could not even tie down a regular spot at West Brom when he went there on loan at the second half of last season and has managed just 3 goals in 27 appearances for his current club this season.  His departure will definitely do him some good as he lacks the quality to play for the Arsenal and the last thing we would want is another unused striker on the bench grumbling at a lack of match time.
So that’s all for now folks. Till Friday when I bring to you another exciting edition of the blog. If you have enjoyed reading this, please share on facebook, twitter yahoo and gmail using the buttons below. Still working on the comments gadgets as I know y’all have things so say. Till Friday God bless the Arsenal. Iree o.
