Top of the Morning to y'all
The bible says "Whatever is bound on earth shall also be bound in heaven", therefore I bind all forms of negativity on the Arsenal team. Negative jounalists who instead of using their pens to set things aright use it to dig up and stir up shit and nonsense about the team all in the name of generating clicks on their pages, page views, and rave reviews on farce shit that really are not true and this morning am following Robin's example to clean up that shit. In my little way.
Reactions have continued to trail Robin's reaction to the substitution (that substitution- ugh) of The Ox during the loss against Man Utd. and some have gone as far as saying its an open show of mutiny on the part of the captain, others have gone as far as saying the Robin has dropped a transfer request after the game. But the man in the eye of the storm cleared up all the bad belle talk in his exclusive interview with the Sun where he said
'I was not having a go at the boss on Sunday I was just sad to see Alex
leave
the pitch as he just gave the assist for our only goal. I was not questioning his judgment. I know it's not my place to
challenge
what Arsene Wenger does. He is the boss, he makes the decisions and that's it... end of story.
I have worked with the boss long enough to know there's always a good
reason
behind his decisions — and there was again on Sunday. When Arsene makes a decision, it is based on a lot of information that
everyone else might not know about and he will never betray. I admire him so much for that'.
News travel fast these days with the power of the internet and all but negative stories travel faster, sometimes probably faster than light. A story such as that of mutiny against the boss by the captain is one that would definitely keep the rumor mill running and its enough for all the propagandists to thrive on. Why do you think the media love people like Mario Ballotelli, John Terry and Ashley Cole? Its because they continually sate their appetite for scandals and negative stories which the general public are much too happy to indulge.
We must ensure that we dont make ourselves prey to these rumor millers as this can destroy the core and unity of a team and if the team is not united in the face of adversity, then we have no hope of redemption from our bad form.
Robin's reaction could only have come from a player who was commited to the course of the team and wanted to win the match, truth be told, "The Ox" was our best player on the night and his substitution would only have come to someone who really cared enough to react. After-all, you can't care about something you don't love. I have no doubt that RvP loves the club and wants to lead the team to success. His contract situation is something that is giving most fans a cause for concern but I have no doubt that he would sign a new deal at the close of the season but we need to at least finish in the top four to ensure that. The season is still long and there's just enough games left on the calendar for us to turn things around & get to where we want to be, sorry, where should be above if I'm to be honest. But the deed is done, we just have to put up a good fight.
A change is on the cards, I can feel it, its only a matter of time before we're able to strut our stuff with the exceptional teams; 'cos right now we're struggling to bear the tag "Great" & that's the truth. Am glad the captain has cleared up the air about the incident and that should be the end of the story for the rumor mongers. Robin is our captain and has led the team in the way a captain should do this season, so lets get behind the captain and the team so as to push for the top spot in the league where we rightly belong after-all we have Robin so who needs Batman.
Till Friday when I'll be bringing to you a comprehensive preview of our FA Cup clash with Aston Villa, Trust God, Respect Your Woman (or Man) & Love The Arsenal.
God Bless The Arsenal, Iree o.
